Our daily programme is endorsed by the Department of Education. The teaching at our school is informal and knowledge is imparted through play. The children learn by having fun.

- Hoedspruit Nursery School is a well-established school that has rendered an excellent service to the community since it opened its doors on 2 February 1981.
- The mission of our school is to provide quality education in a caring environment. We believe in strong Christian principles, but also acknowledge ones right to freedom of religion.
- We have 5 classes and 7 teachers who follow an educational program in the mornings until 13h00 with all the 3 to 5 year old learners. After care is then also provided until 17h00.
- Toddlers from 18 months to 3 years stay in the same teacher's care for the whole day.
- We believe that your child will benefit greatly from his/her enrollment into our school.
Our classrooms are equipped with air conditioners and learners can enjoy their education in pleasantly cool classrooms. The learners can play and enjoy our beautiful well-equipped playground. Our school is equipped with loads of educational toys that will suit all the different needs of the learners. The climbing apparatus is colourful, sufficient and challenging.
The teachers of the school are all very dedicated to their tasks. Our school is unique due to the devotion of our teachers towards every learner in the school and to make sure that every child achieves his/her potential.
THE GOVERNING BODY
The school is managed by a Governing Body, as required by the Department of Education, who:
- Manages the property of our school and exercises control over the school and its activities;
- Manages the finances of our school and determines the school fees;
- Is the official voice of the parents of our learners;
- Determines the school rules and the school policy without infringing on the professional duties of the principle and teachers;
- Appoints teachers and staff members; and
- Determines and manages the school's constitution without interfering in the professional work ethic of the principle and teachers.

The school is Registered with the Department of Social Development and as a Non-Profit Organisation. NPO number 184-666.
